Our Mission:

The Van Vorst Park Association is organized for these purposes:

Provide a forum for the consideration of issues of local concern;

Serve as our members' liaison to organizations and government offices in the local area;

Promote neighborliness and community spirit through social and cultural events;

Participate in community and charitable activities that improve the general welfare, including,

Elimination of prejudice and discrimination;

Defense of human and civil rights;

Combating community deterioration, crime and juvenile delinquency

Advancement of education; and

Maintenance of public parks, buildings and monuments.
